Robert Adams

Robert Adams has been supporting local communities, large businesses, and small businesses in their efforts to develop, expand, and thrive in the digital space for over 20 years. In 2006, after 10 years of work as a senior programmer, Robert founded The Web Corner Inc. with the vision of developing customized strategies that meet the specific needs and goals of clients. With his years of experience in information technology, Robert concluded that the strongest web-based solutions need to combine innovative technology with client communication. Whether the clients are financial, educational, media, or civic, web pages and infrastructure are customized [tailored?] to suit their diverse needs. At The Web Corner, human connection is the heart of the design thinking process.

Since founding The Web Corner, Robert has helped connect LA’s diverse communities by managing the websites for 26 local neighborhood councils. He has also been able to help startup companies and local businesses, as well as established institutions such as UCLA Medical. In addition to front-end website design, his projects have often involved a wide range of other needs, from making marketing materials to automating shipping processes to automating postings of agendas and minutes for meetings.

Robert is a native Californian, born in the heart of the San Fernando Valley and raised in a strong military family. His father – a Vietnam Veteran, purple heart recipient, and ranking commanding officer – instilled in him a strong work ethic along with personal responsibility, discipline, and leadership skills. Throughout his life and professional career, Robert has drawn upon these characteristics. He credits these so-called “soft skills” as the backbone of his company’s successful development and expansion for 15 years.

In his free time, Robert loves taking advantage of the beautiful California weather by hiking, cycling, and gardening. His favorite trail to hike is the Griffith Park’s Ferndale Trail to Dante’s Peak. He is also passionate about being involved in his community; he volunteers his time for several projects and organizations, including animal rescue programs and mentorships for disadvantaged youth. During the recent pandemic, Robert was able to provide rent assistance and funds for basic needs for those who were impacted by job loss.
